I am a recent graduate of the College of Liberal Arts at University of Minnesota Twin Cities with a degree in Sociology. In order to support myself and my education, I have been working at a restaurant in my hometown throughout high school and college. This experience has allowed me to grow as an individual and team member, hone my communication and problem-solving skills, and fuel my passion for people. Between this job and my full course load, I also utilized work-study opportunities to engage further with my major as front desk Student Academic Support for the Sociology Department. This was a great way to connect with professors, fellow classmates, and academic support staff whilst also gaining experience with programs like Excel and Canva. Earlier in my college career I participated in History Day Minnesota with a historical internship as a student mentor for local 6-12th grade students. In doing so I was able to engage with leadership and diversity in ways I have not before.
