Dr. Adel M.A. Khalifa was in the academic career for 25 years. He got a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering(power) in 1970, M.SC. in Heat Transfer in 1974, PhD in Biomedical Engineering in 1978. He was teaching as a professor at King Abdul Aziz University, Jeddah Saudi Arabia (1980-1995). He has many academic publications and inventions in Solar and Renewable Energy. He started his own business in Egypt by establishing Khalifa Computer Group (KCG) since 1984. KCG is one of the pioneers in the Arab world in eLearning, ePublishing and Multimedia Software in English and Arabic. Khalifa Software House (Registered as AL-Khalifa for Information and Communication Technology -KICT) produced more than 500 software titles in several multimedia and educational software applications. KICT completed more than 100 projects. many of these applications are in eLearning and ePublishing in Egypt and the Arab World. KICT developed also a sophisticated HR system that utilizes the cloud computing applications. Dr. Adel Khalifa participated in many publich activities as the chairman of the Arab Association for ePublishing, the vice president of the elearning and business solutions association. he participated in the National council for establishing the Technological development for Egypt (1997-1999).Dr. Adel Khalifa is now a senior IT consultant.
