Assisting the WSWC staff and members in carrying out the following duties:• Document, retrieve, maintain, and organize water data (including maps and GIS data)• Develop database modules, web service code, or other map interface components that assist with data discovery or other value-added features• Migrate data into web feature services and customized mapping interfaces using ESRI’s ArcGISonline, ArcGIS customization tools, or other open source tools (e.g. Leaflet, CartoDB, etc.).• Reformatting available water data for electricity transmission planning models, or to dovetail intoexisting USGS water availability and use programs.• Work on grant-funding tasks such as grant writing, grant reporting, and grant partner administration

MS thesis: Heterogeneous Water and Energy End-Uses and Implications for Residential Water and Energy Conservation and Management

Participated in preparing many environmental impact assessment studies: (i) Feasibility Study for Ramallah and Betunia wastewater treatment plants (200,000 serves residents)., (ii) The New City of Rawabi, Ramallah, West Bank (40,000 residents), (iii) The Ersal Center Project, Ramallah, West Bank (12,000 residents). (iv) Beneficiary Assessment Study for Zahret Al Finjan Landfill,(receives 400 tons/day) Jenin, West Bank

Research Project:Decentralized Wastewater Treatment and Reuse for Rural CommunitiesThe project aimed at treating domestic wastewater in the rural communities in Palestine by utilizing hydroponic growth systems of different plants at a pilot scale. (i) Operated the treatment pilot study under different scenarios. (ii) Conducted periodical tests on wastewater quality: BOD, COD, TSS, TKN, TP, DO, EC, and fecal coliforms.(iii) Participated in the preparation of the new Environmental Engineering Laboratory at the Engineering Collage with the suitable equipment, glassware, plasticware, chemicals and safety equipment. (iv) Wrote weekly progress reports.
