Since April 2014, I have worked for SMS Sistemi e Microsistemi Srl (www.sms-lift.com), a leading Italian manufacturer of electronic components for lifts,belonging to Sassi Holding SpA.The Company develops and produces a wide range of parts and devices for different type of lift application, either for traction or hydraulic. Thanks to its experience SMS Srl provide technical support and after sales assistance unique in the elevator field.As SMS Managing Director I’m responsible for the daily operations of the company and I report to the Board. More in details my role includes:• formulating and successfully implementing company policy; • directing strategy towards the profitable growth and operation of the company; • developing strategic operating plans that reflect the longer-term objectives and priorities established by the board; • maintaining an ongoing dialogue with the chairman of the board; • putting in place adequate operational planning and financial control systems; • ensuring that the operating objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by the management and other employees; • monitoring the operating and financial results against plans and budgets; • maintaining the operational performance of the company; • assuming full accountability to the board for all company operations; • representing the company to major customers and professional associations; • building and maintaining an effective executive team.

Main tasks can be resumed as follows:1) Working with strategic MKT director in order to define new products and realize them at Beghelli china plant.2) Promoting and organizing new products research, focusing on consumer sector, defining make (BGI) or buy (OEM) strategy.3) With Beghelli Far East Top Management, setting up I&D asian team, defining way of working and controlling the project plan realization.4) According to I&D activity and focusing on BGI production, supporting Beghelli Asian local organizations in order to set up process and supplier partnership.5) With regard to OEM products, directly managing supplier relationship with full responsibility and control on technical and financial decision.

I had responsibility on E&E area budget, planning and coordinating the dept. activities using a performance evaluating system, aiding personal professional growth.
