Building a loan origination system which was initiated as an effort and initiative to revamp a legacy system that has been running for 12 years and coming to an end-of-life.The project has 4 modules, web front-end UI, data migration, reports and ILOOG business rules engine.The web front-end UI is built as a joint effort with an appointed vendor,The data migration is a module by itself because the goal was to create an artifact generic enough to migrate global data in phases,The report module was separate module by itself due to the bank's initiative to use Elixir Repertoire Server, a product by ElixirTech to build a new report-hub,The business rules engine module is created as an initiative to build an enterprise solution for all credit origination system across all customer segments.The project is interesting because the size itself, the scope, and since this is a big initiative from the bank, a lot is at stake.

Building a front end web application, mainly for data entry and workflow processor for any Business Credit Application documents. Connects to other systems for data-feed, and produces daily reports to be injected to other systems as well. It needs to be said that this project may have nothing interesting on the technical side, but the sheer volume of transactions alone is enough to make it stand out.
