Adelyn is an accredited Play Therapist with Play Therapy International (PTI) and the founder of Pandora Box Play Therapy. Adelyn strongly believes in the power of play not just in the lives of children but also in adults too. Her personal experiential learning from her play therapy training since 2013 further reinforces her belief in the benefits of play for every individual. Hence, she is passionate to help children and adults to find themselves through play. Since 2018, Adelyn conducts mental well-being workshops and talks in schools, corporation and community organisation with Creative Arts and Play. Adelyn is also a supervisor, supervising current PTI/PTUK Play Therapy and Filial Play trainees for the past 5 years. In addition, Adelyn loves working with children, finding joy in their spontaneity and resilience. She is always honoured to be the “co-helper”, walking together with the child in their journey to wellness. She believes in upholding the therapeutic play environment safe as the child works through his/her issues in the therapy room. Adelyn has 10 years of experience working with children from age 4 to 12 years old, specializing in Play Therapy. She is bilingual in English and Chinese. Adelyn works with both typical and atypical children on a wide range of difficulties which include behavioural problems, tantrums, social withdrawal, lack of intrinsic motivation, low self-confidence and self-esteem, challenging peer relationships, lack of social skill, short attention span, inability to focus, ASD, ADHD, GDD and delayed speech issues etc.
