Translating and localizing articles from Russian to English for OVD-Info, a media project fighting political persecution in Russia. Completing a research project on European attitudes towards the Russian Opposition. Sponsored by the OVD-Info Human Rights Fellowship through the Authoritarian Politics Lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Seeking to use my language skills and contribute to my local community, I sent a proposal to teach introductory Russian and German language classes at the local library in my hometown, Burnsville NC. Growing up here, I always wanted to learn these languages, but never had the opportunity to do so. My proposal was accepted and I now teach both languages on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to groups of 6 and 7 people. I designed the curriculum myself with inspiration from language courses I took at UNC Chapel Hill.

Main coordinator of all UNC Slavic Club activities from 2021 - 2024. My colleagues and I worked to revive Carolina's Slavic Club, transforming it into a thriving student organization. Our member count has increased from under 40 members to well over 200. Slavic Club consists of students of multiple different backgrounds and is still growing.

Working as a student representative of the Russian Flagship Program at UNC Chapel Hill- presentations to groups ranging from 50-400 students- event coordination and presentation- advising students in the program- providing feedback to federal government grantors on how to improve the program
