As the Director of Development and Marketing I had two primary functions at Beloit Regional Hospice and Beloit Health System. I was responsible for all fundraising efforts within the organization, including but not limited to grant application writing, special event planning and management, planned giving and major gifts, donor management and more. In my role on the marketing side I supervised a team of outreach professionals who represent Beloit Regional Hospice at external committees, events and community functions and develop relations with potential partners, medical professionals, patients and families, as well as establish contracts with facilities within our seven county service area. As a marketing professional I developed the advertising and integrated media campaign to include television and radio commercials, print advertisements, expo and fair participation, sponsorship and involvement in community events, as well as press releases, social media and website management and more. I directed the speaker's bureau, which offers educated and engaging professional speakers in a variety of disciplines to discuss topics ranging anywhere from advance directives to wound care or dementia signs and symptoms.

Colorado Springs, Colorado Area And Pueblo, Colorado Area

As lead admissions advisor I was responsible for the enrollment activities of a team of eight admissions advisors, including the advisors for the doctoral program. I coordinated with academics to ensure new students had all the resources they required to be successful. I also stayed abreast of regulatory requirements to ensure my team had the highest level of compliance and integrity. I had a dual role as the mtilitary liaison with CTU. I kept office hours on post, attended military related events and education fairs, as well as worked with and advised military affiliated students on their benefits options. These benefits included Tuition Assistance, GI Bills, Vocational Rehab and ROTC and Green to Gold Programs.

Pueblo, Colorado Area

My primary responsibilities included all marketing activities, such as creation of print advertisements and television commercials, and public relations including press releases, crisis communications and press conferences. Special event management was my secondary responsibility. We put on many large events throughout the year in downtown Pueblo, including Boats, Bands and BBQ, which drew over 10,000 attendees over three days. Another responsibility was merchandising and advertising for the Riverwalk Boathouse, a water attraction and gift shop.
