I am a Mobile Software Engineer at Kuda, the leading digital banking platform in Africa, where I use my skills in React Native, TypeScript, Redux, and other modern technologies to optimize user journeys and retention. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Lagos in 2019, where I learned the fundamentals of software engineering and developed a passion for mobile development. In my current role, I collaborate with growth specialists and other cross-functional teams to improve the user experience and engagement of the app, integrating third-party SDKs, developing pixel-perfect UI, and implementing various growth and marketing strategies and tools. I also participate in the whole software development life cycle, from planning to deployment to maintenance, following best practices and standards, and using TDD and unit testing to ensure reliability, scalability, and robustness. I enjoy working in a collaborative and agile environment, contributing to code reviews, design discussions, and team activities, and learning from feedback and challenges.
