Nadus Technologies, a startup, is dedicated to developing applications that cater to identified needs and gaps in Nigeria, Africa, and globally. Adeniyi, a founding partner, currently serves on the board.

• Subject matter expert for Turbines Electrical, Control and Software systems for multiple sites (Siemens, GE, and Mitsubishi) with a combined installed capacity of 4GW.• Ensure Turbines comply with interconnect agreements and ISO (ERCOT, IESO, Midwest ISO, CAISO etc.) requirements during operation.• Create and review standard documents (line diagrams, studies, engineering bulletins, reports etc.) for Turbine system changes, HV Substation Systems, Other Balance of Plant Systems (MV and HV), Harmonic Testing, Emergency Power Strategy, Sites Software Profile, Sites Control Parameters Profile, and PQ Meter Installation.• Release RFP for projects like reactive bank redesign for post-commissioned ancillary support.• Participate in Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), risk assessment, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities for both Balance of Plant (BoP) and Turbine failures.• Executed projects like outage prevention through SCR analysis, harmonic testing, PQ meter installation, and windfarm optimal adjustments (frequency derate settings, PMT tap settings) with cumulative multi-million dollar revenue increase and time savings.• Supervise OEMs (Siemens, GE, Elspec etc.) and contractors on/off site to execute projects, review proposed changes and resolve issues. Mentor associate personnel.• Support execution of NERC/ISO MOD and NERC PRC Testing to ensure full compliance.

• Design and develop electrical/power system models and real-time dynamic simulation algorithm, apply these models in grid/gas turbine operability study (transient and steady-state), and interpret results.• Execute on GGOV (Gas Turbine Governor) model projects. Respond to queries on the GGOV model and maintain the GGOV model.• Co-lead for Gas Turbine model version 2.0 initiative.• Develop and execute system and sub-system validation test plan for developed models; also maintain team’s legacy electrical models.• Participate in Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), risk assessment, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities.• Gather, document and draw fulfillment plan for modeling requirements of operability projects.• Team’s mentor and support personnel for all electrical-related projects and challenges.• Partner with systems, controls, operability, accessories, component design, and research engineers; also interact with customers while executing projects.• Some of the tools utilized are MATLAB/Simulink, Easy5, FMI/FMU, Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM), Agile Project Management and Visual Studio.

• Designed multiple MATLAB programs including programs that dynamically simulate any traditional power system and integrate a wind energy conversion system in a power grid.• Constructed a large scale Smart Grid Laboratory for the School, both hardware and software parts. Hardware includes Generators, Transmission Lines Emulators, Breakers, Measurement Sensors, and SCADA systems. LabVIEW and Visual Basic are used for the software interphase.• Designed and tested through simulations and experimentation in the Smart Grid Laboratory using MATLAB and Visual Basic an Intelligent Algorithm, based on the use of both Multi-Agent System and Artificial Immune System, which prevents the occurrence of Cascading Failures in Power Systems after Multiple Contingencies (Contingencies considered are N-1, N-1-1, and N-2).• Designed an algorithm that executes power system restoration after faults using Visual BASIC. Tested the algorithm in the Smart Grid Laboratory and it worked effectively.• Have vast experience writing power flow programs in MATLAB and Visual Basic; and modeling renewable energy systems in MATLAB.• Have 17 Peer-Reviewed Papers in Journals and Conferences. Made presentations on research at school and in conferences. Executed these using Microsoft Office programs.

• Analyzed, measured, simulated and solved electric power quality problems of customers like Utility Companies, Electrical Devices Manufacturing Companies.• Conducted an Electromagnetic Interference test for an APC/SSAB/ABB STATCOM substation using Spectrum Analyzer, Amplifier, Antennas (Bi-log, Rod, and Loop), Internally-designed LabVIEW program, and GPIB connectors. Reviewed the Test Procedure and Designed the Experimental Data Sheet for this Project. • Experimentally tested electronic circuits for parts susceptible to failure due to exposure to disturbances using SmartWave Waveform Generator, SmartWave Control Suite, Step-up Transformer, PQView, HDPQ Measurement Analyzers, Dran-View, and MS Excel.• Derived a summative power quality index for the categorization of waveforms and designed a software using MATLAB, Excel and PQView to accomplish this categorization.• Worked on a proposal for the determination of measurement sensors’ errors in a solar power plant.

• Labour Contract Staff at Total Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited(TEPNG)• Facility Management Electro-Mechanical Engineer (for Eko Tower, a 21 level building)• Co-supervised a 6-man contractor team apart from their technicians.• Executed an energy savings plan for the building that resulted into saving at least $30,000/year. • Some of the TEPNG organised trainings attended are Health Safety and Environment Induction, Emergency Response Induction, Basic First Aid Awareness Training, FM 200 Fire Extinguishing System Training, Basic Fire Fighting Awareness Training, Respecting the Environment in Production Operations Training and Permit To Work Procedure Training.• Left for graduate studies.
