Agricultural Ecosystem Services Trading Initiative is a sustainability driven organization that is focused on rewarding farmers for regenerative farming through carbon credit scheme. aESTI connects sustainable farmers to organizations, individuals, governments that wants to offset their carbon footprint by purchasing carbon credits. In this role, I achieved the following.1. Developed soil organic carbon sequestration protocol for dairy farming enterprise.2. Conducted desk research and analyzed the available GHG emission and carbon sequestration measuring tools based on WBCSD and IDF recommendations.3. Worked with the team to conduct a baseline study to analyze the current level of adoption of regenerative farming and carbon credit amongst dairy farmers in the Netherlands.4. Conducted a robust stakeholder mapping/analysis of the Nigerian carbon market, identified prospective partners and initiated partnership engagement.

The Competitive African Rice Initiative II (CARI II) is a follow-on project to CARI I, program commissioned by the Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) in December 2013 and has been completed in June 2018. The implementation of follow-on project (the second phase of CARI) starts in July 2018 and runs to June 2021. It is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in cooperation with Kilimo Trust, and John A. Kufuor Foundation. The objective of CARI II is contributing to improved productivity of the producers and processing companies in the rice value chain. CARI II is implemented in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Nigeria, and Tanzania with the aim of reaching 48,000 African rice producers, 30% of which should be females.The project aims at four major outputs: • Increased experience sharing amongst actors of the rice value chain• Sustainably improved inclusive business relationships• Improved access to financial services for actors of the rice value chain• Improved Policy Framework for Rice Value Chain.Playing a role of junior value chain advisor as an intern at GIZ, I have among other things helped in 1. Drafting a road map for the application of Bank of Industry Mechanization loan for rice farmers across Nigeria. 2. Supported the Farmers Business Organizations, FBO, strengthening and development training(Training of Trainers project)3. Assists in the implementation of activities related to CARI instruments. i.e Human capacity development, matching fund and other field operations. 4. Administered questionnaires, monitored the survey and collated data with a view to prepare rice farmers fact sheet.

El Probitas Limited, popularly known as Mamass farm in the agrarian community is a 21st century agricultural outfit ensuring food security and bringing healthy produce from farm to fork. With over 600 acres of land, El Probitas feeds Oyo state, Kwara, Niger and Lagos states from its animal and crop products. While at El Probitas, I coordinated and participated in farm activities ranging from land preparation, land mapping and measurement, planting, post-planting operations such as thinning, fertiliser application, pesticides, herbicides and fungicides application and harvesting.while I was the head of the crop unit, I supervised the cultivation of 25ha of rice, 50ha of maize and 14ha of cassava
