Commodities Technology - MarketData Team- Developed and Managed Commodities MarketData Applications in C# and Python. As the primary team member and contact in London, I was responsible for overseeing and liaising across the wider commodities team to ensure Marketdata stability across all applications.- Worked closely with the risk and quants teams to generate and modify risk data and commodities data models in Python on a day-to-day basis.- Designed and Developed in C#, POC concept of new Marketdata application for sending data using Confluent Kafka for centralizing published Marketdata.

Equities Technology - EMEA Quant Dev Team.Worked on highly important projects as below:- Integration of timeseries data into Trader ToolKit web application using variety of technologies such as JSON, Python, Flask, Typescript, Javasript.- Automation of risk reports Aggregation and processing of global data using Python and it's powerful pandas library. Use of Node JS, HTML, CSS for data view.

• Assigned to the Data Migration and Virtualization team.• Purpose was to migrate data from old servers onto new servers using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.• Was introduced to Citrix, a technology used to create as much as 150-200 virtual servers for virtual hosting during migration of data and accessing of data, which is highly secure, less costly and promotes more efficiency when attending to organization requirements.• Greater insight into the importance of data replication in the event of a failure with primary servers where I was tasked to configure and set up domain servers, DHCP and DNS connections as well as ping networks on both servers such that when data is created on one server, it is automatically replicated onto other server.• Had the opportunity to also carry out memory upgrades on servers through installation of RAM and disks. In addition, configure them via Integrated Lights Out (ILO), a remote software used to check the performance of a server.

• Started off with a brief Lateral thinking quiz and soft skill exercise and as teamwork is crucial, we were placed in groups to work together and share ideas to achieve the task.• Exposed to tools such as the rig in a box which communicates with the servers offshore, provides internet services through LAN network and also real-time data to the IT department in order to monitor drilling through a Shell WellVantage interface.• Had the opportunity to do some technical work with the rig in a box and also attended meetings where updates and improvements were discussed about the WellVantage interface.
