Supervised the volunteers for the Organization's annual conference: maintained a list of volunteers throughout the year, then coordinated their skills and schedules during the conference; analyzed the availability and skills of varying ages of volunteers and provided appropriate personnel for all conference positions; maintained records and provided verification for teen volunteer hours for school requirements.

Identified the need for a support and activity group for home educating families; formed such a group with three families and grew it to well over one hundred. Daily operations included public outreach (marketing, press releases, community event participation, etc.); record keeping (membership and financial information); counseling and support for parents; and planning and running activities for children (ages 2-16).

Sold framed cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and appliances in a DIY warehouse store retail setting: worked with contractors to order according to their plans, as well as upselling them design features and details; primarily worked directly with clients to plan the best kitchens and baths for their needs in the spaces they had available. Also recognized the importance of displays as a sales tool and therefore designed and maintained the showroom and samples. Left the Camp Hill location to specialize in high end design at Kountry Kraft; returned to the Lancaster location upon being laid off, then resigned permanently to focus on my family.

Sold custom, high end cabinetry (framed and frameless) from a retail showroom; supervised projects from design, through ordering, installation, and problem solving, to completion. Maintained display space and samples and utilized them to great effect for solid sales. Utilized both computer-aided design and the personal touch of hand-drawn designs to impart confidence in my clients as well as the knowledge that I was invested in them and their homes. Designs included not only customized cabinetry needs for kitchens and bathrooms, but completely custom pieces for living rooms, bedrooms, and libraries. My tenure at Kountry Kraft was cut short, unfortunately, when the company decided to close its retail operations to focus on contractor sales.
