My on site experience includes:Working as a lead site engineer during both possessions and engineering hour works.Tamping.Setting up surveying equipment such as GPS and UTS total stations.Marking out site features.Reading and understanding various site diagrams and design drawings. Using track gauges and other measuring instruments.Updating site management regarding progress on site.Stressing Level 2.

During my employment at Ford Motor company, I was a team leader on one of the Diesel engine production lines. I was in charge of approx. 10 staff, who had the tasks of building diesel engines in a production line environment.My day to day activities included, fault finding, machine breakdown analysis, engine repairs and testing, providing relief for staff needing breaks and to communicate with other team leads to ensure production rates were met.Ford has a very high standard when it came to safety, and has helped me to bring some ideas to companies I have worked at since. My role also included analysing safety reports, such as near misses and suggesting safety improvements that could be made, to managerial level.
