Factory General Manager - Garments
Current1) Setting & Re Structuring of complete factory layout to achieve proper work flow and accountability department wise.2)Setting up of new quality team and the procedure for quality system develop the system effectively by recruiting new staff and training them on quality procedures.3) Develop and execute strategies for enhancing the manufacturing efficiency from order to delivery in factory.4) Continuous Improvement on the production lead time and the delivery performance.5) Planning and monitoring day to day running of business to ensure smooth progress.6) To lead all departments of the unit through day to day management.7) To empower all the departments and direct them towards organizational goal rather than the departmental goal as stand-alone.8) To educate all departmental heads to utilize resources effectively and efficiently for the profitability of the organization.9) To set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Job Descriptions (JDs) for each and every department and monitor on regular basis and guide them to get out of the deviations to perform as expected by the organization.10) Assist all departments in capacity planning and to enhance the production yield performance.11) Provide training and support to factory management to work towards continuous Improvements.12) Setting up systems to ensure consistency in products responsible for quantity of garments manufactured in the unit.13) To monitor plan versus actual on daily basis to act if any deviations and cover them to meet organization goals with an action plan.14) To monitor Time and Action calender and follow up with merchandisers on daily basis in terms of product development and approvals and pre-production activities to take place well in advance to planned production start dates.15) To monitor productivity, on-time delivery with cost control.16) Also responsible for other tasks as and when given by chairman and Board of Directors
