A Chartered Engineer with background of over 10 years in the Electrical and Renewable Energy industries coupled with substantial experience in grid integration of more than 5GW renewable energy and electrical design & installation of Wind Farm, Biomass, Solar PV, Wave, Tidal, Nuclear projects across United Kingdom and overseas. I am currently leading a team of Engineers and Consultants to provide services to renewable energy developers and utilities.  Manage and resource for all projects received from existing and new client. Prepare, review and approve electrical designs and technical reports. Complete transmissions and distribution networks connection applications. Provide technical supports to all our clients Review and approve AutoCAD drawings, electrical design diagrams. Carry out Grid Code Compliance assessment. Support senior and consultant engineers on technical issues. Assist the management team to recruit new staffs.

 Carry out feasibility studies for renewable energy projects, wind farm, landfill biogas, CHP etc. Design substation electrical layout and single line diagram. Prepare electrical functional design specifications for wind farms, CHP, Biomass. Produce business modules and cost analysis for new generations and onsite generations. Prepare proposals for electrical designs, substation designs, and feasibility studies for renewable energy. Complete grid connection application for generations and manage enquiries from distribution and transmission network operators (DNO & NGET). Design and commissioning of voltage control plant for power generation stations. Specify cable, switchgear and transformer for generations. Resolve technical issues on behalf of Client and prepare technical reports. Specify protection, control and instrumentation application for electrical power generations. Manage electrical installations and subcontractors for Clients. Attend project development and progress meeting with contractors and attend technical meetings with distribution network operators.

 Construction, Installation & Commissioning of Wind Farms and substations. HV and LV electrical circuit, protection design and review. Installation of LV and HV cables, 11kV/33kV and 33kV/400V Substations, SCADA network system and communication network. Manage technical and commercial aspect of the project. Manage quality, productivity of all mechanical & electrical installations. Manage subcontractors on site.  Ensure quality complying to job specification Prepare work order cards, method statement and carry out risk assessment. Prepare job work pack documents  Prepare technical reports and handover documents. Ensure compliance to HSE procedures.

 General supervision of electrical, mechanical and building construction services, substation design review. Ensure compliance to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures Prepare technical report and coordinate safety meetings Ensure contractors’ compliance to work permit requirements Managing quality, productivity.

 Support Emission Reduction’s Project Engineer (Mechanical) on new two 35MW electric drive Compressor Stations construction. Support electrical designs review team. Agree on scope of work and method statement’s compliance with NG procedures. Supervision of installation and maintenance on gas generators. Review contractors’ work proposals and risk assessments. Represent the Terminal at Health and Safety meetings with contractors. Attend project meetings and prepare a technical report. (HAZOP, HAZCON, COSCCH, Project Interface meetings). Carry out site induction process to visitors and contractors. Carry out health and safety checks on construction site. Supervise contractors on various works on site.
