* Led by a Senior Engineer, inspections were carried out on accommodation blocks being constructed on the University grounds. An integrity test of structural members were carried out using the rebound hammer device (smith's hammer), for compressive strengths laboratory tests such as cube tests on concrete was employed and tension test were carried out on the reinforcement bars samples. The overall framing integrity were based on the evaluations of these results and directives given as appropriate.

* Interned under senior Engineers on the construction of an highway with connecting bridge network.* Practical on-fields skills were gained, supervised technicians and craftsmen to ensure quality and maintain uniformity in alignment of drainage walls, road levels, concrete mix and good working ethics.

* Application of steel components to include H, I, channels in the construction of industrial warehouses, fabrication of metal components used in construction amongst a host of others.* Practical involvement of structural welding, arc welding, how to spot defective weldings and taking precise measurements.
