Dr. Ahmad Dhaini is a core member of the Center of Digital Government at BCG Middle East. He advises and works closely with C-level executives and senior government officials on developing and executing their national and organizational strategies and programs. Ahmad has vast experience in digital economy and transformation, digital government, strategy and operating model, tech innovation, emerging technologies (Data, AI, Cloud, and IoT), and digital policies and regulations.Ahmad is the founder of several tech startups in the Silicon Valley and Middle East, and a board member and advisor for several tech startups in the MENA region.Ahmad was a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the American University of Beirut. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and has authored over 60 highly cited publications in books, international refereed journals and conferences in the fields of telecommunications, machine learning, and biotechnology. He is also an inventor of two US patents in the areas of telecommunications and biotechnology (for a full list, please visit: https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=en&user=SoP_HnYAAAAJ).Ahmad received several prestigious awards and scholarships such as the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada Postdoctoral Fellowship, the Ontario Graduate Scholarship for Science and Technology, and the AUB Merit Scholarship.He holds a BS in Computer Science from the American University of Beirut, an MS in Computer Engineering from Concordia University, and a PhD in Computer Engineering from University of Waterloo. He also completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University along with the Stanford Ignite program at Stanford's Graduate School of Business. He also completed an Executive Program in Digital Strategy at INSEAD.
