Got hands-on experience in component manufacturing and gained a good understanding of manufacturing processes like sheet metal press operation and heat treatment.· Learned assembly operations and CTQ parameters responsible for overall product quality and process parameters impacting product validation to meet OEM requirements.· Interacted with senior staff members, advancing engineering knowledge and gaining exposure to overall clutch design calculations and application engineering aspects.· Gained a good understanding of new product development phases, including APQP stages, Design FMEA, Control plans, Process FMEA, DVP, and built timing plans in Microsoft Project Professional tool 2021.· Built samples, tested prototypes, gained insights on test standards, and trained to write reports documenting product performance results.· Conducted research required for practical and theory assessments through online sources and employee interactions, gaining deep insights into engineering product development and manufacturing processes.
