CurrentProject:End of Day Account processing platform for credit instruments. Responsibilities encompassed applying fees and charges, billing, account maintenance, overseeing lifecycle classifications such as delinquency and dormancy, and managing opening and closing balances to ensure accurate financial records and compliance.Achievements:• Architected and designed EOD platform to process 208 million credit account decoupling data processing and persistence flow to scale independently. Reached 1 mill peak TPS for processing and 100k TPS for persistence paths.• Designed data replication pipeline from Postgres to S3. Moving from PG LR query to a big data architecture (S3 and Athena), optimizing data prep time to 5 mins for 208 mill accounts and reducing cost more than 70%.• Designed transition from Get API calls to pre-run data preparation for EOD tasks, ensuring zero errors from network faults and enhancing reliability and stability of the system.• EOD processing of 208 million credit accounts to within 45 minutes, demonstrating high-throughput system capabilities to major banks in India and the USA.• Command framework to streamline EOD process, to ensure reliability (independent of network faults in upstream services) and independent scalability of persistence flow.• Addressed idempotency issues in account issuance flow for improved system resilience.• Architected real-time event processing system for CC events like repayments and reversals.• Retry framework for handling event processing failures, adopted across org.
