Dr. Adhish Basu is a national board-certified Plastic Surgeon, with special interest in Cosmetic surgery and Microvascular surgery. He is an independent advisor in medicolegal disputes.After completing his MBBS from Medical College, Kolkata, Dr. Adhish Basu went on to pursue his MS in General Surgery from the internationally renowned Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in Pondicherry. Thereafter he successfully cleared the MRCS (UK) intercollegiate examination. Dr. Adhish Basu went on to complete his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh. There he became an expert at treating complex injuries of the face and limbs, congenital deformities, burn injuries and reconstruction after removal of tumors. Subsequently he also cleared the DNB examination in Plastic Surgery. Dr. Adhish Basu holds Fellowship certifications from St. Andrews Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery in the UK for cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast, from the University of Minnesota in the USA for facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, and from Providence Hospital Medical Centre in the USA for Microvascular Surgery.Dr Adhish Basu has dual postgraduate certifications in Medicolegal Law from National Law Schools of Bangalore and Kolkata.Dr. Adhish Basu has been the recipient of numerous awards, published extensively in journals and books and has been an invited speaker at national meetings.He has more than 15 years of experience in plastic and cosmetic surgeries.
