I'm the co-founder of Stelo Stories, an award-winning vertical film studio. Stelo creates high production value feature films for mobile. I established the company with my sister Maya Kochavi in 2020, following the successful launch of Stelo’s first film, Eva.stories. In 2022 we released our second film, 'Equiano.stories'. Both films received hundreds of millions of views. Our third film is set to be released in 2023. Prior to Stelo, I was one of the creators of ‘Dark Net’, a two-season docu-series that aired on Showtime and later sold to over 20 countries. The series intends to raise thought-provoking conversations about the dark side of technology, and labels its viewers ‘the last generation to know privacy’. I was also the Editor-in-Chief of Vocativ, a social media-focused content organization. There I spearheaded the company’s shift to video content and grew its organic monthly views to 50M. Vocativ created short, 1-minute docs that highlighted stories from around the world about fascinating people, and social and cultural phenomena.
