I also helped develop an AI-powered virtual triage system within our symptom checker platform, using NLP and predictive analytics to provide users with an initial prognosis, which was utilized across 500k+ user chats.I also oversee the team responsible for optimizing real-time adjudication. Through our proprietary claim adjudication platform using ML-based anomaly detection and predictive modeling, we process over 4,000+ claims daily in near real-time. These initiatives established a data-centric, AI-driven infrastructure that transformed user experience and operational efficiency in digital healthcare and insurance, bringing an average 20% cost savings compared to traditional health insurance program run by insurers. Additionally, my team and I were instrumental in building a proprietary policy administration system capable of configuring complex policies with various sublimits and constraints, such as utilization capping, relationship-specific copay limits, and benefit-level caps, making us the only player able to launch a fully configurable and modular employee benefits program within 24 hours for any construct

As part of the Commodities Market Data Team, I developed scalable solutions to ingest, process, and distribute high-volume static data to downstream systems and client applications, ensuring timely and accurate market data for decision-making.- Built the MarketData GUI, an interactive dashboard designed for real-time monitoring of commodity prices and the operational status of various Market Data systems, streamlining data access for end-users.- Engineered a real-time notification system to alert clients to incoming data feeds, facilitating proactive responses to critical market updates.- Developed a data-driven estimation model for predicting prices of missing commodity symbols, leveraging large datasets to generate reliable inputs for end-of-day risk assessments. This model enhanced the robustness of our risk calculation software with consistent and comprehensive data for daily analytics.

During my internship at Cesium, I had the opportunity to work on a major redesign of the Sandcastle application, Cesium’s interactive playground for exploring and learning 3D geospatial visualization. My role focused on leveraging React and KnockoutJS to enhance the app's architecture and improve the user experience, making it more intuitive for developers and users alike.By working on a critical tool in the Cesium ecosystem, I gained hands-on experience in front-end development, UI/UX design, and performance optimization. This project strengthened my skills in modern JavaScript frameworks and deepened my understanding of designing user-friendly applications for complex 3D geospatial data.

The Aspring Reseacher Challenge is an initiative by professors at UC Santa Cruz and Stanford to explore the possibility of large scale research collaboration between them and aspiring researchers trying to realize their interest and potential.As part of a team of 19 top researchers, our work focused on optimizing human-machine task assignments for machine inference systems like object detection. The work explores two strategies to increase accuracy and decrease cost under this setting. First, we show that reordering tasks presented to the human can create a significant accuracy improvement. Further, we show that greedily choosing parameters to maximize machine accuracy is sub-optimal, and joint optimization of the combined system improves performance.The paper is available at https://arxiv.org/pdf/1509.07543v1
