I am a EMT-B and AEMD at Bell Ambulance working in the city of Milwaukee. I work directly with patients providing medical care on scene, during transport and while transferring care to the appropriate facility/personnel. I also work in the dispatch center taking emergency and non emergency calls to organize and allocate our resources efficiently. I work both private and public EMS calls varying in inter-facility transfers to first response in medical emergencies. I often work closely with Milwaukee Fire Department, Milwaukee Police Department and Milwaukee area hospitals during first response and while transferring care between healthcare professionals. I am published author of a children’s book titled “Your Body and How It Works” which can be found online through Amazon and my publishers bookstore as well as at local bookstores and libraries. During my time at Marquette I worked as a SPARK and freshman orientation leader for 2 years. I am an alumnae of Alpha Omega Epsilon; a professional and social sorority focused on encouraging women and children in STEM related fields and activities. I am the former president of Student Organ Donation Advocates - SODA at Marquette where we educated the Marquette and surrounding Milwaukee community in the topic of organ donation while partnering with Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin.
