Assistant Psychologist and Nursing Associate, aspiring Clinical Psychologist.I’m currently working full-time in a Busy Community CAMHS service in the North West. My duties are split between Nursing and Assistant Psychology where I hold a therapeutic caseload under direct supervision of a Clinical Psychologist. Facilitating Cognitive Assessments, ADOS and providing ADHD clinics. I work across the Team with Core CAMHS patients and those on Neurodevelopmental Pathways. I completed my first year of the Trainee Nursing Associate degree in a General Hospital setting (primarily gastro) before moving to a mental health NHS Trust to complete my second year, where I’ve been able to work within fields more closely aligned with my aspirations. I gained extensive experience within EIT and low-secure forensic services.I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2020, awarded with a BSc Psychology with a 2:1 and first class award for my dissertation. I’m interested in trauma & distress, psychosis and self harm; with lived experience fuelling my passion for change, advocacy and holistic person centred care. I’m eager to learn and continue developing in the area of psychology, mental health and well-being, in order to become a Psychologist, and I’m also super excited about the journey to get there and any opportunities along the way!
