I am a driven and ambitious undergraduate at the University of Pittsburgh, pursuing majors in Finance and Biology, minors in Economics and Chemistry with a certificate in Global Health. I expect to graduate in Fall 2026, and I am passionate about leveraging my diverse academic background to make a positive impact.In June 2020, I founded Patient Family Connections, a non-profit organization that provides electronic tablets to hospitals, enabling patients to stay connected with their families during their recovery. I successfully facilitated the application for 501©3 non-profit status, collaborated with a website-building & and marketing agency, organized fundraising of roughly $20,000 for 14 hospitals, and led the procurement and delivery of tablets.In addition to my non-profit work, I serve as a Board Member for Journey to Mom LLC, an online maternity/baby store & and blog. I built the first draft of the website and am currently collaborating with a website optimization agency, sourcing products, and working with companies on marketing and website optimization plans and strategies. We expect to launch during first quarter of 2024My medical experience includes an internship in Pancreatic cancer and COVID statistical analysis in R at the Carl Ichan labs at Princeton University and shadowing experiences in Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Intervention Cardiology at Penn Medicine - Lancaster General Health, and in an outpatient setting at WellSpan Medical Group.I am proficient in HIPAA and patient confidentiality, having completed CITI Training in Biomedical Course, Research with Children, Mental Health for Higher Ed and Healthcare, GCP for Clinical Trials with Investigational Drugs and Medical Devices, Privacy and information Security, Revised Common Rules, and Responsible Conduct of Research.Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I am a General Body Member of the Pitt Student Venture Club & and Panther Racing Club. I am also a coffee, tennis, and car enthusiast.
