It includes 17 years in Ministry of Education, Govt. of India as Senior Consultant, where I had the opportunity to work at Policy Level, Evaluation & Assessment, Training and Budgeting for Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, RTE Act 2009 and Samagra Shiksha.I was also associated in a project of Bureau of Police Research and Development (MHA) regarding an all India Study on Open Air Jails.Besides I have worked in several Non-Governmental Organizations working in the filed of education and Child rights, including YMCA,HOPE India etc

  Worked as Senior Consultant at Technical Support Group (TSG) for SSA & RTE Act, which is constituted by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. This group consists of professionals from diverse fields who are responsible for providing consultancy to Ministry of HRD as well as support, guidance and capacity building to all 36 States/UTs in implementing SSA and Right Of Children To Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 (RtE Act 2009). My job included capacity building for planning and management towards universal elementary education with focus on deprived children and communities like girls, street & working children, migrant children, children in emergency situations, children without adult protection, children affected by internal conflict, Children of minorities, children affected by HIV/Leprosy, Transgender etc. My major responsibilities in the present profile are; Support for need based local specific and decentralized planning, appraisal of Annual Work Plan & Budgets, capacity building and training of implementing agencies at state and district levels, development of innovative strategies for need based planning and budgeting in convergence with NGOs, government and multilateral agencies. Technical support and facilitation for monitoring and review, analysis of the reports in consultation with national and international agencies like NCERT, NUEPA, DFID, World Bank, European Commission, UNICEF etc. to assess progress and recommend follow up action. Major Job responsibilities include • Overall Implementation and Monitoring of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) and Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 (RTE Act) with focus on three major components which inter alia include  Universal provision of Schooling facility. Universal Enrolment including Out of School Children Admission of Children belonging to disadvantaged groups in Private Unaided Schools as mandated under RTE Act 2009
