During my time at Indian Institute of Technology, Patna (IIT Patna) as a research intern from May 2023 to June 2023, I had an incredible opportunity to work on an exciting project focused on "Drone Detection using Deep Learning" under the guidance of Dr. Jimson Mathew. The experience was truly enriching as it allowed me to explore the fascinating world of cutting-edge technologies and their applications in identifying and tracking drones.Throughout the internship, I was actively involved in assembling different drones and capturing their RF signals, which provided valuable hands-on experience in understanding the challenges associated with drone detection. I also worked on implementing various algorithms, preprocessing data, and training them using CUDA, which enabled me to achieve impressive results.Collaborating with Dr. Mathew and the research team was a transformative experience, as it gave me insights into real-world applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning, especially in enhancing security measures. The project presented its fair share of challenges, which helped me grow both technically and professionally, equipping me with problem-solving skills.I am immensely grateful to Dr. Jimson Mathew for his mentorship and unwavering support, which played a pivotal role in my personal and academic development during the internship. This experience has further ignited my passion for the field, and I am excited to continue exploring the possibilities of AI-powered solutions for real-world problems.I want to express my sincere gratitude to IIT Patna for providing me with this exceptional opportunity to contribute to the domain of drone detection and AI. I am thrilled to share my enriching internship experience at FirePro Star Safety & Security (L.L.C) in Dubai, Nad-Al Sheba, during the period from December 2022 to January 2023. As an intern, I had the opportunity to work on critical projects involving fire alarm and pump control panel programming using embedded C.During my time at FirePro Star, I was actively involved in the maintenance and programming of addressable fire alarm systems on a live network. The hands-on experience with embedded C programming allowed me to gain practical knowledge and insights into the intricacies of fire safety and security systems.Throughout the internship, I received comprehensive training in the installation, maintenance, and programming of various fire safety systems, including fire alarms, voice evacuation systems, emergency light systems, and fire pump controllers. This exposure to cutting-edge technologies in the field of fire safety has been instrumental in shaping my understanding of the industry.I am honored to have successfully completed the training program, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with a talented and dedicated team at FirePro Star Safety & Security (L.L.C).
