Excellent working knowledge of liquid / gas single phase and multiphase / wet gas metering system design and principles of operation (Vx, PhaseWatch, Solartron, etc.), but also a valuable and transferable skill set such as flow calculation algorithms, programming and API, AGA and ISO standards. This position made me realize how important high quality metering data is for production operation and reservoir performance monitoring.During the placement in the company I have been raising change requests to rectify metering and data quality deficiencies, such as incorrect algorithms in DCS. I also prepared flow metering guidelines for operations staff in the site. I also conducted functional tests to validate simplified DCS flow calculation algorithms by comparing with industry standards.I also developed a software application FlowCalculation32 for orifice flow calculation and gas properties calculations as per ISO 5167 and AGA 8 respectively in Python programming language.Developed and implemented complex real time calculations in PI for accurate mass balance.Built data reconciliation tool to identify flow meters with gross error.Built virtual flow meters for wells. Author of SPE Paper #192592 “Implementation of Virtual Flow Metering Concept in Kashagan Field“. Validate MPFM readings and well testing results. Author of paper UPM 18130 “Multiphase Flow Meter Implementation, Verification, and Use for Calibration of Virtual Metering in Kashagan Project”.Implemented H2S weight concentration realtime measurement using Dual Energy Gamma Ray Attenuation.I achieved highest possible score in Single National School Graduation Test, 120 out of 120, which allowed me to become holder of Centre for International Programs’ scholarship (Bolashak) to study in UK.
