I have participated in several aviation related programs, and I am currently working towards my bachelor degree in Aviation Management. As part of my associate degree, I also attained my private pilots license. My high school was an aerospace magnet, which afforded me the opportunity to participate in programs such as the Aviation Career Education (A.C.E.) Academy. After high school I served in the U.S. Marines Corps, and was deployed three times for a total of sixteen months. As a U.S. Marine I received training in Networking and PC/Server Support. During my time in the Corps I served as WAN watch chief, and was in charge of the core routers supporting the entire deployed 1st Marine Expeditionary Force. I have worked in many environments and adjust quickly to my surroundings. As part of my associates degree I have studied many aspects of aviation including, regulations, communications, meteorology, navigation / flight planning, and aerodynamics. While many of these topics were part of my flight training, I was also able to study them more in depth by taking dedicated courses on each subject. I am currently studying various management topics relating to the aviation industry, for my bachelor degree, including: General Aviation Operations, Legal Aspects of Aviation, Airline Management, Airport Management, Airport Planning, Aviation Industry Regulation, and Aviation Safety Management.
