Minerva Dawn Farms is a food industry whose main objective is to supply meat based products to fast food chains and food industries in Brazil and abroad. As Logisctics Manager my responsibility is to provide the necessary structure targeting the smooth supply of raw material, ingredients, equipments and spare parts into the company as well as make sure that our clients in Brazil and around the world will receive their orders in perfect condictions and in due time. In the domestic market MDF currently sells its products to clients in 10 States , delivered through outsourced transport and distribution servers under my coordination. In the external market our products are delivered to clients in Europe, Canada, Middle East and Chile. Import operations are frequent and of critical importance, once all the industrial equipments at MDF are imported.Daily tasks include contact with clients and suppliers in Brazil and abroad, tax and customs monitoring, budget management, outstanding sales monitoring, development of IT system.

This company started its operations in 2005 as a branch of a multinational Swiss company based in Geneva. Core business: trading and export operations. I was in charge of the implantation of the logistic structure (legal and operational) In 2007 I became responsible for the general management of the company. Main responsibilities included the coordination of commercial partnerships with other Brazilian companies, daily conference with the headoffice, P & L responsibility, in addition to others such as budget management, accounting reports, exchange operations, pricing, and others related to the general management. Frequent trips in Brazil and abroad were also part of my professional routine.

I started as assistant in the commercial export department and became the coordinator of the department as from 2003. Responsibilities: supporting international clients after the sales (remittance and follow up of samples, shipping instructions and shipment advices, responding to special requests, backoffice), accomplishment of legal demands (tax monitoring, registrations at Siscomex, certifications, issuance of drafts and bl's, custom clearence, REDEX, exchange contracts) and invoicing (issuance of commercial invoice, payment instructions, remittance of original documents, relation with banks, pre payments).
