Shifting from clients to customers has been a natural progression. As an environmental attorney for over 25 years I handled matters for clients when they had become problems. Now I am able to handle solutions before they become issues. A CEO wears many hats - entrepreneur, marketer, leader, financial planner. I am most passionate about problem-solver. "Solutions"​ is right in our company name because that is what we are - a solution company. We handle the problems that are part of anyone's business. As a contractor in the construction field we work to bring the same solution driven approach to that arena, and whether the project is big or small, we handle the process with responsibility and responsiveness. We provide solutions for environmental sustainability, from analysis to disposal or recycling, from facility management to total waste management. So AIS could mean Ancillary Industrial Services - but what it does mean is Focus on Solutions for our customers and I am proud of that.As the owner of a Certified Women Owned business I am also proud to promote diversity in our suppliers and industry. Offering our customers women-owned spend is another problem-solved.With four children in four different colleges, I am also an expert in taking campus tours (always try out the cafeteria), editing application essays (proofread!) and sending "pizza"​ money (don't ask, don't tell). Transitioning to an empty nest has been a challenge, my husband, Steven, and I are learning to date again.I love making new professional acquaintances.
