About Alexius Dingle

Driven molecular biologist with expertise in vector biology, medical entomology, and genetic engineering. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Genetics and Genomics, where I'm conducting research that leverages viral replication mechanisms and genome editing to combat diseases transmitted by mosquitoes. With hands-on experience as a Research Intern at Eli Lilly and Company, I've also contributed to cutting-edge immunology projects, screening antibody-based drug candidates and aiding in drug discovery. In addition to my research endeavors, I have served as a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate Genetics labs and a Research Team Leader for STEM students at Texas A&M University, guiding them through research projects and fostering their passion for scientific inquiry. I also had the opportunity to participate as a Grad Coach in the early deployment of BioGradMatch, a web-based program designed to match students from historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) to graduate programs in their areas of interest. Together, these opportunities have honed my ability to serve as an effective and compassionate peer mentor and teacher in as well as outside of the lab.My academic journey and various research experiences across different scientific disciplines has equipped me with a versatile skill set ready to tackle challenges in pharmaceuticals, consumer healthcare, biotechnology, or agriculture. I'm enthusiastic about leveraging my expertise to drive innovation and make meaningful contributions to impactful projects. Let's connect to explore how my background and skills align with your organization's goals.
