When I conceived Magnifind, I saw it as a way to help people, providing a hub to link them more directly to the healthcare professionals their conditions need. Provided through an easy-to-use local search system, this makes health services more accessible and aims to have a positive effect on health in general.To bring Magnifind to market, I built an international team and advisory board, raising funds for the new venture and demonstrating the opportunity associated with such an idea. Then came development. I managed the creation of a robust, scalable, high performance platform using then bleeding-edge technologies like Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry and InfluxDB, which have since had their worth recognized and become industry standards.It is a source of pride for me that this project allowed me to use my skills to improve people’s quality of life across Canada.

ENIGMAi is a multi-million-dollar solution to the seemingly ‘unsolvable’ call center scheduling problem. Ten years ago, Mastercard set the challenge of writing a program to achieve near-perfect automatic call-center scheduling, which would be very valuable to many, but which most presumed impossible. Needless to say, they were surprised when I returned a few years later with the solution. Especially since it was a single, small file on a USB stick I handed them. I’d spent four years mostly in my garage doing the math and working on algorithms, which wasn’t an easy task when going up against billion-dollar companies. Mastercard bought the solution, but the money wasn’t the main motivation or reward for me. I enjoyed seeing people using and benefitting from my program. Such as call centers whose revenue had increased and employees whose working life had improved.

We built ClusterOne to help organizations across the business spectrum to adopt AI, make it work for them and move forward with it. The platform was designed to provide a basis and a set of tools for developers looking to advance machine learning. In terms of basic structure, the platform consists of a set of microservices running in separate containers and managed as a Kubernetes cluster.In my position, I managed an international infrastructure team to develop and maintain the system to achieve the highest standards in AI platform provision. I also ensured that the product was consistently on the cutting edge, providing the best service possible. taking input from the sales and marketing team was also important to keep my work and the tools themselves client focused.

Northfield IT, offers premiere managed infrastructure services. My job was to design the next level infrastructure for our clients serving the following goals: Code as Infrastructure, greater scalability, granular monitoring, centralized error handling and exception management, better and faster CI/CD and enable fast scaling in an agnostic fashion while taking SLA and security to consideration.I promoted system like Chef and over time Kuberenetes, increase simplicity and scalability by using CDNs (mainly Fastly), promoted Prometheus and Grafana, enabled Sentry, promoted Consul for a service discover and a single point of truth for configuration and the state. All those while making sure everything is well documented and knowledge can be leant easily.

At EverythingMe, I helped to develop the most advanced tool on earth for providing a fast and efficient, tailored experience to Android phone users. The aim was to deliver exactly the right apps, contacts and information for the user, exactly when and where they are needed. Among other things, I worked to implement EverythingMe’s complex infrastructure on Amazon Web Services and develop the tool using technologies like Redis, Chef, Graphite, Tornado to deliver the perfect user experience.

At AdBrite Israel I am a Team Leader and one of the 3 System Architects; we defined the architecture of our production environment from the system, network and security point of view. The team is responsible of the entire production environment (more than 1000 Linux servers). We are doing maintenance, projects, monitoring, and developing tools. The teamwork included writing implementing monitoring and alerting system, writing Perl scripts, patch management for the entire production system, deployment, writing documentation and have partial responsibility on the networking.

At Comverse I was in the SWP Section (Software Engineering Platform), in charge of designing and coding. One of the systems I designed called CSP, system that was targeted to reduce the implementation and upgrade times of Comverse' SMS systems in customers production environment. I left Comverse for opportunistic reasons.

At 888.com, Me and my team was in charge of all the UNIX systems worldwide.This includes four deferent datacenters, Two at London, One at Israel, and One at Gibraltar. A part of my job is to design the UNIX environment from a scratch, to create a security policy, a backup and restore policies, global capacity plans, DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan) for the mission-critical systems, and the central logging mechanism. At 888.com I design, program, and enforce all the users' permissions.My Goals were to ensure the supreme uptime and to provide the world-standard from the aspects of speed, optimizations and information security, at all company's UNIX system worldwide.

UNIX system administrator and information security manager. My Job included building servers structures. In addition, I was in charge of 25 servers, including development servers, QA servers, and production servers. I defined a security policy for all the computers (including Windows), I defined backups and administrated the live servers environment at all technical levels. Also, I provided technical consulting services to some of the clients at the network level, UNIX level, and security.

I tested our application from the system administrator’s point of view; I made its Software Test Plans (STP) and Functionality tests. Additionally, I checked the application in large networks, in order to validate that the application can be integrated inside standard IT environments. I made automatic testing scripts that simulated real-life administration tasks and integrated the results in databases to generate reports.
