• Worked on Bentley RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment) system to enable ASF local and HTTP streaming playback features, which are not supported by OpenCORE on Froyo. • Onsite support at Blaupunkt Embedded Systems, Germany to resolve B frame issue in H.264 playback.• Implemented OMX core for HEVC OMX component, integrated with the Stagefright framework on Android, to support playback with PacketVideo’s media framework. Modified parser to support newly added atoms for HEVC in MP4 specification and done changes streaming support.• Lead the projects independently including requirement specification, timely deliverables, customer support, and team management.

• Design and implementation of an Active MIO for video because default MIO on OpenCORE has an issue related to display time resulting in frame drops.• Involved in design of core modules and mentored team members for implementation.• Handled customer releases, fixed critical issues for different OEMs, and provided onsite support to Sharp in Japan.• Worked on Android DRM framework to enable Microsoft PlayReady DRM scheme on devices.
