By the presence of Chemelco offices in Shanghai, Trinidad & Tobago, Rotterdam and Baarn Chemelco has a unique position obtained to supply the desired materials quickly and cost effective towards her customers.Within Chemelco I had a very diverse responsibilities. My primary task was supporting the sales managers with several activities. Therefore I was involved in activities around requests from customers, estimate the needs of the customer and fulfil the needs with an efficient solution with keeping in mind the cost as well as swiftness of delivery. I also took care of the creation of quotes, follow up on the quotes, maintaining the product specifications and certificates, deal with technical requests and communicate them to the technical engineers and suppliers, provided support with distribution of newsletter, requesting material samples towards the suppliers on behalf of the customers, processing the samples and follow up. The preparation of business travels of the sales managers was also one of the tasks I carried out.As from my logistics supportive role I was the single point of contact for customers, I was active with the creation of transport documents, maintaining contacts with suppliers, handling complaints (ISO) and quality management on the supplied products. Maintaining the debtor management was one of my tasks.
