Thesis Topic- Accurate inverter losses modelling and benchmarking of BLDC motors for different electrical steel grades.• Generated a Matlab script to automate a FOC based motor drive simulation (created using ANSYS Simplorer and Maxwell) and calculatethe inverter losses accurately.• Generated efficiency maps and loss curves over a wide range of speed and torque for the simulated motor drive.• Using the generated maps, conducted a Benchmarking study and sensitivity analysis of different PMSM motor classes focusing on theSwitching frequency of the PWM and changing motor electrical steel materials.
