As a medical assistant, I triaged patients, assessed vital signs, took detailed medical histories, and documented physical exams and plans with the provider. I also assisted with various procedures including annual female exams, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, etc., and performed procedures such as suture removals, intramuscular injection administration, and various point of care tests.

I saw thirty to forty patients a day and educated them on procedures, proper medication use/side-effects, and effective wound care.
