Managed projects and owned technical analyses relating to thermal comfort, daylight analysis, facade optimization, whole building life cycle assessment, water reuse feasibility, and benchmarking administration. • Analyzed passive cooling potential for an aviation manufacturing facility in Albuquerque, NM projected to minimize the use of mechanical air conditioning by 53% annually. • Quantified potential and provided recommendations to reuse blackwater and greywater on-site, minimizing demand for potable water, projected to save 7.8 million gallons of potable water annually in a high-rise residential tower in Toronto, ON, Canada. • Assessed facade design and exterior shading, optimizing visual comfort, and reducing direct sun to interior spaces in several institutional and commercial projects across locations. • Collaborated across teams and developed a sustainable materials strategy for a luxury hospitality project in Los Angeles, CA, maximizing material health, and minimizing environmental and social impacts. • Conducted feasibility studies for various sustainability benchmarking systems, identifying strategies to achieve the highest level of certification at the asset level (commercial, institutional, residential buildings) and portfolio level.

Reviewed student projects for climate-responsive design along with building technology. Consultant for the Integrated Studio taught by Margaret Ikeda and Mark Donohue. The studio is open to both Bachelor of Architecture / Master of Architecture Program students.

Owned performance modelling and data driven solutions, along with research and implementation of new features in the software application. • Developed a new feature for future weather analysis, taking global warming into account, resulting in greater accuracy in predicting energy consumption. • Conducted training and product demonstrations for over 30 client groups, providing additional 1-on-1 project assistance and troubleshooting as needed.

This research resulted in a conference paper publication and received a grant from Harvard’s Joint Center for Housing Studies through its Student Research Support Program (SRSP).
