I led Sen. Butler's technology and innovation team in developing and advancing legislative initiatives on AI and emerging technology and their impact on elections, workforce and economic development. I also managed her work on the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committee to advance her priorities, including through bipartisan bill negotiations, hearings, and other committee meetings.

I supported Sen. Lujan's work as Chairman of the Communications, Media, and Broadband Subcommittee on Senate Commerce, and developed and advanced legislative proposals on artificial intelligence, online safety, and digital rights.

I established and grew the technology-facilitated gender-based violence portfolio for the USAID Gender Office and gained buy-in across offices at the agency. The portfolio included establishment of public-private partnerships, designing development programming on technology and human rights, coordinating interagency engagement, and cultivating relationships with multilateral and NGO partners.

I conducted policy analysis of graduate medical education, legal education, and federal research funding. I also supported the creation of SCI long-term strategy, program and curriculum development, and multimedia content creation targeted towards enhancing civic engagement in STEM.

I co-founded an advocacy group focused on advancing equity in the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences & Technology program. I Initiated programming to improve representation of the HST student body, including an application assistance program and interview event for underserved students. I also established targeted recruitment activities and successfully advocated for policy changes related to graduate admissions and faculty hiring.

My dissertation focused on the human factors of human-machine interaction, specifically how human physically and cognitively interface with wearable technologies.

I served as Managing Director and Board Member at MIT GSW where I managed planning of an entrepreneurship conference and workshop in India, Chile, Thailand, and Colombia. I led teams of 20+ graduate and professional students in fundraising, operational logistics, programming, and content creation. I also established and managed relationships with our local partners, which included universities, governments, and private companies.
