I managed the HUMAN side of the Block Project, a program that builds tiny homes in people's backyards. I recruited homeowners to share their backyard and selected residents (people experiencing homelessness) for these homes. I prepared the homeowners and the future residents for being in community with each other and their neighbors. I launched the Resident Wellness Program to help the residents transition from homelessness into independent and stable housing. This was a massively emotional undertaking for the residents and the success of the program depended on their mental health.Facing Homelessness is a grassroots, fast growing nonprofit that works on creating community solutions towards ending homelessness.

Vidya Bhawan is a 90 years old nonprofit that runs 11 schools and colleges and educates 5000+ students from low-income backgrounds every year. It was going through a massive revival, and I contributed to it by creating new programs, revamping old ones and improving systems and processes.I launched a Wellness Center to serve mental and physical health needs of its students and staff. As of 2018 - Annual health checkup camps organized by the Center have impacted 1500 students, with 27% identified needing further treatment. The center has 50 students as regular counseling clients. Menstrual and sexual health workshops have trained 150 students, girls learnt to make their own low-cost sanitary napkins. Selected teachers from all institutions have been trained, and all these programs are now formalized in the systems and curricula of the schools and colleges.I developed VB's first fundraising and communications/branding strategy and systems, to help close a 90% revenue gap due to decrease in government funding and radically improved processes, content and materials to drive donor and student recruitment.I led strategic planning and implementation of high priority projects, including developing a proactive hiring strategy, creating fellowship and volunteer programs to develop talent pipeline, and partnering with program leaders to revise strategic vision for specific programs and schools.

The initiative aimed at helping rural children and teens create a mental health support system for each other - primarily to reduce drug abuse and runaways to cities. I launched a pilot project in rural Udaipur, trained 40 tribal teens from two villages on concepts of peer counseling and problem solving. These teens mentored younger children and applied these concepts to create an empowered child community. I secured funding and incubation support for the initiative from the Indian Institute of Management, a reputed business school in India.

RDB is a Government entity overseeing business environment in Rwanda. I worked in the Planning Department and developed a report-consolidation tool in Excel (VBA) for automating the weekly reporting system for all departments. I helped derive and develop the 5-year Strategic Plan for RDB from overarching National goals and plans. I also helped launch an initiative to streamline the processes of all public services like license registration.

Seva Mandir is a nonprofit working on holistic rural development of 634 villages in Rajasthan. As the Development Professional, I led the execution of a project to ensure better health outcomes for women and children and generate carbon revenues by replacing mud stoves with improved cookstoves in 19.5K rural households. I managed all communication, deliverables and timelines among external agents: suppliers, UN validators and investors. I helped manage financials (carbon revenue potential of over $7 million), and helped raise the first $50,000. I also helped write the annual reports and other outreach material for the organization.

I analyzed drug prescription data, forecasted sales and recommended marketing targets for major pharmaceutical companies in USA and EU. I received an Applause Award for taking initiative and developing support tools to automate data analysis and reporting for a client, and decreasing processing time 8 fold.
