I am a health economist, Chief of the Health Policy Studies Unit at the Congressional Budget Office, and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Previously I was the Director of Research and Policy at the Health Care Cost Institute, on the full-time faculty at Hopkins, a Health and Aging Policy Fellow in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation at the Department of Health and Human Services, and on the staff of the Council of Economic Advisers.
