My team is responsible for the lifecycle (build, decom, maintain, scale on demand, migrate etc.) of a certain section of security services for Salesforce infrastructure.

Worked on creating content for https://cryptodoneright.org (Johns Hopkins Cryptographic Knowledge Base). The project, in collaboration with Cisco, aims at demystifying complex concepts of Cryptography for IT professionals, Software Developers and Managers.

- Worked with a team responsible for heading operations, infrastructure, and architecture of Identity Management Systems.- Built tools to automate compliance related checks and operational workflows on platforms like AWS IAM, Windows AD, and RSA Auth Manager. Processes that would otherwise take several man hours and were error-prone are now streamlined with very minimal human intervention. - Additionally, deployment of these above tools on existing infrastructure was greatly simplified using Terraform. - Studied and contributed to architectural changes to Enterprise Identity Management Infrastructure to mitigate risks such as downtime by enabling High Availability.

- Help students with technical queries on the subject.- Held office hours to assist students on a 1-1 basis.- Assisted professor with grading assignments. - Setup lab environments for classroom war sessions.

- Worked as a Backbone Network Engineer with a team of ~10 at Cisco's APAC HQ.- Worked with customers from around the globe to resolve technical issues with Computer Networks.- Specialized in Network Security Product Suite - Cisco ASA, Firepower, ISE, and VPN. - Specialized in VPN as a technology. Handled high profile cases for issues with IKEv1, IKEv2, PKI, SSL, and IPsec in various deployments of AnyConnect, GETVPN, WebVPN, FlexVPN, and Site to site VPN. Support included best-effort troubleshooting of hybrid networks (with other vendors' equipment). - Served as a PoC for certain Cisco customers on all technical matters with respect to VPN technology. Helped drive solutions by getting involved in cross-technology collaborations and engaging teams such as Software Development and Sales to help cater to customer needs. - Served as a Lab Instructor at Cisco Live, Berlin. Helped customers become familiar with emerging technology in the Security space. - Held technical training for incoming interns and engineers on existing and new technology to drive innovation. Was part of multiple hiring drives at Cisco for a role at TAC. - Mentored engineers on a 1-on-1 basis. Helped mentees with technical concepts, troubleshooting processes and documentation. - Contributed to a Network Automation Drive. Helped create tools that assist engineers in troubleshooting and case-management tasks (autofill case documentation, log parsers, solution suggestion engines). - Authored and co-authored close to 20 technical documents.

- Was part of a program that provided formal training in Network Routing and switching with focus on protocol level knowledge and technical challenges with deployment. Was also provided with a project to develop a tool (UCS Tech Dump Parser and Analyzer) to enhance troubleshooting efficiency of Technical engineers. - Was among the 5 selected candidates out of 900 applicants.
