As a high school student studying in Grade 11 at Sheldon William Collegiate, Regina, I have always had a keen & curious mind towards Mathematics, Physics & Engineering. I have built several radio-controlled planes and boats in my spare time, which still find a place in our garage which is also my workplace in my spare time. I am also active in sports, particularly with respect to Swimming. I have participated & won in several provincial (Saskatchewan) swimming competitions including the 2023 Goldfin Invitational Swimming Meet in Saskatoon (SK), Tumbleweed Classic Event in Williston, North Dakota (USA), 55th Mike Mintenko SummerFest 2023 at Moose Jaw (SK), Fall Break Out 2023 at Regina (SK), representing Flatlands Swimming Team, Regina (SK). As a Corpral in 34, Volunteering is important to me. However, in 34 Royal Canadian Air Cadets, I noticed that Cadets experienced problems in Discipline and were not behaving as they should to their officers.I decided to take the initiative and work hard and wait till my promotion. As Corpral, my role was to make announcements and help staff members in voluntary activities. I encouraged cadets to be disciplined. I started by telling my junior LACs to ensure no one talks before entering the parade square. I also took the initiative to help junior cadets follow my path to becoming Sometimes, cadets tend to forget where they are and lose their discipline and focus. However, I persevered by asking them to focus and listen when a senior was talking. Recognizing the importance of discipline, I sought to promote leadership by being the leader and teaching students to get into future Air Force schools, by being Disciplined and listening to senior cadets and getting recommendations to go to future schools.In the end, I helped many cadets learn discipline and how to get into future programs by volunteering and helping others etc. My leadership inspired my peers and senior officers and fostered division. I also helped my peers become well-behaved and find their goals in life. My leadership will have a long-term impact on my peers as they learn a lesson to be disciplined wherever they go and find a purpose in life. This made me realize that some people can believe and respect you more than you can yourself. This experience taught me how to become a leader and helped me develop greater leadership skills. I will use these skills to continue promoting my peers through becoming a Sergeant.
