SoB '23 is a global, online summer internship program focused on introducing university students to Bitcoin open-source development and design.Currently developing Bolt 13 Bitcoin-compliant watchtower at Eye of Satoshi in Rust for lightning transactions.The Eye of Satoshi is a non-custodial Lightning watchtower compliant with BOLT13. The purpose of non-custodial watchtowers is to serve as a failsafe mechanism for nodes and protect them against being cheated by potentially malicious peers. Watchtowers receive encrypted penalty data from lightning nodes for each channel update alongside some identifier that allows them to locate potential channel breaches. Upon detecting a breach, the penalty data can be decrypted and acted upon.

- Educate and engage others on campus about the possibilities of blockchain technology and how to get building on the XRPL BlockChain.- Build a community on campus around blockchain and the XRP ledger- Create innovative and new use cases for the XRP Ledger- Plan and host events and speaker lectures about the XRP ledger

The Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT-Roorkee is a student-run organization of spirited individuals who are striving to create, foster and promote entrepreneurship among the students. The E-Cell pilots the budding entrepreneurs towards their goals through all the necessary resources like mentoring, consultancy and networking with Alumni, Entrepreneurs, Investors.
