Also, engaged leading FMCGs facilitating collaboration between them and commercial (category) team at the retailer for customer data-led collaborative category planning, to drive customer centric range on the shelf.
Senior Analyst
Helped drive incremental value for the Indian JV of Tesco with Tata Group (Star Bazaar) as well as 4 leading FMCG partners (Unilever, P&G, Reckitt and Mondelez). Engaged with stakeholders across retailer’s commercial, marketing and store operations teams as well as FMCG’s account and marketing teams to drive customer centric assortment and merchandizing, leading to up to 6% incremental sales for categories under consideration.Worked on the customer as well as the category health checks. Then moved on to the ranging (assortment) solutions to deliver customer-insights backed ranging decisions across 4 focus categories. Subsequently, got involved in bespoke targeting work for the mobile App and helping retailer understand their customers better through delivering Customer Trackers as well as more understanding on loyalty migration.

I was part of the Small Format Initiative for Kroger (800+ small format stores of the largest US grocery retailer) which was a 3-way initiative between the retailer, dunnhumby and 8 leading FMCGs (incl. Pepsi, Hershey's etc.), aimed at uncovering new or untapped opportunities to meet customers’ small/ convenient trip needs via shopping formats of today and tomorrow. Led the work stream on understanding bridging (the way customers use both the large as well as the small format stores) and then subsequently went on to work in areas like Category Management (proposing range for the small format), Customer Fundamentals, Targeted Communications, Promotions etc. Apart from this, I was also responsible for maintaining the processed data for the initiative which was used by all the analysts involved.
