• Working at the Headquarters of the construction conglomerate at Gurgaon. • Reporting to the Directors of the Asia Pacific Region. Providing direction to the management on transaction issues, disputes resolution and arbitration's, advising on key legal issues and contractual matters.• Drafting and negotiating key construction contracts on behalf of the various entities of Isolux including Joint Venture Agreements, Consultancy Services Agreements, Sub-Contract Agreements, Licensing Agreement, Quarry and Lease Agreements, Non Disclosure Agreements, Employment Agreements, Work Orders, Term Sheets, MoU’s etc.• Preparing legal opinions and advisory on various legal issues faced by the company on day to day basis.• Providing strategic insight on and drafting replies to Legal Notices issued by the various government Authorities viz. National Highways Authority of India, Power Grid Corporation India and Bangladesh.• Acting and representing the company on several Bank Guarantee encashment cases at the High Court and Supreme Court.

I work extensively with the Disputes Resolution and Regulatory Department of the firm.With prime focus on commercial, contractual and arbitration disputes, I have worked on a wide spectrum of civil, recovery, energy, infrastructure, electricity, oil and gas, and criminal disputes. Drafted and prepared pleadings (suits, written statements, rejoinders, applications, SLPs, writ petitions etc.), opinions, legal notices, replies to legal notice, strategic memorandums on a wide array of matters.I regularly appear before the Supreme Court of India, High Court at New Delhi, High Court at Punjab and Haryana, District Courts, Appellate Tribunal for Electricity, various State Electricity Commissions and National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. I have also briefed some of the most reputed Senior Counsel in the country including the Attorney General of Indiaand the Solicitor General of India.On the corporate side, I have drafted several settlement agreements, notice of terminations, service agreements, Non-disclosure agreements for client, and have regularly advised on the enforceability of the contractual provisions in agreements.I have worked very closely with the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and several PSU’s such as GAIL, ONGC, BPCL, IOCL, Petronet LNG Limited. In addition I have also acted for reputed international and domestic clients such as Doosan Heavy Electricals, International Finance Corporation (IFC), Sterlite Group, Thomson Reuters, Wood Group Kenny Singapore, General Electric, Alstom, GMR, Noble Group, Bank of America, Fernas Turkey, CLP Energy, GDF Suez, Telenor, Fareportal, Tata Power etc.

Worked on several cases of national importance such as the Coalgate scam case, the inter-state water dispute case between Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Greater Noida Land Acquisition Case etc. Regularly briefed and prepared synopsis of cases for his Lordship (For regular matters as well as fresh matters). Assisted his Lordship on research for several judgments, research papers and studies. Worked on a wide spectrum of matters pertaining to Taxation Law, Criminal Law, Intellectual Property Law, Commercial Law, Constitutional Law, Property and Family disputes, ADR and other Civil litigation.

Worked on Civil litigation and Arbitration matters and appeared before the Debt Recovery Tribunal, State & National Consumer Commission. Drafted legal pleadings including Plaints, Replies, Rejoinders as well as SLP’s on several matters.
