VMWare / Hyper-V Migration to Azure• Plan and Develop roadmaps and deliverables to advance the migration of existing infra to cloud.• Design and implement migration strategies for traditional systems on Azure (lift and shift/Azure Migrate)• Experient with multiple migration approaches, including lift -a nd-shift, re-platform in g, re-architecting ,• Develop workload migration plan in conjunction with other technical teams.• Knowled ge of Azure Governance (Policies, tagging, cost management)• Experience of Azure Backup & Recovery Services• Landing Zone Validation/Plan as per Migration strategy• Setting up the Azure Migrate appliance.• After setting up the appliance and completing discovery, begin replication of VMware VMs to Azure.• Monitor replication status by Replicating servers in Migration and modernization.• Run a test migration.• Management, support, and deployment of cloud production & lab environment.• On-premise (Hyper-V/VMWare)/Azure infrastructure provisioning• Experience with Azure Ia aS (networking, storage, virtual machines)• Automation of System Administration activities and Infrastructure Deployment via Infrastructure as a Code• Building and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC)• Cost Estimation for Azure Onboarding• Azure chargeback reports for Finance reporting.• Best practices implementation for cost optimization of Azure environment.• working knowledge in O.S. Hardening to ensure security compliance.• Server Administration, Patching - Windows Server Upgrade Service [WSUS], Windows Security and Antivirusimplementation and automation, backup & recovery• Installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrade of Windows Server operating Systems (Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016,2019 etc.) for Dev-QA, UAT, and Production. Support Linux OS (RHEL/CentO S/Ubuntu ) as well.• Setting up of DNS, Domain Controllers, Active Directory, RDCALs, etc., knowledge of Datacenter Networking and Security Best Practices.
