My name is Aditya and I am a high school student currently attending school at the University of North Texas through a program called the Texas Academy of Math and Science. I am interested in Computer Science and have conducted research in the field, attended computer science related conferences and competitions, and worked at software development companies.During my internships at Quadrant Resources and ConnectedX, I delved deep into Java development, honing my skills in object-oriented analysis, design, and data management solutions. At Quadrant Resources, I actively contributed to building data management solutions for local companies, while at ConnectedX, I developed a framework facilitating cross-referencing of client projects, leveraging web scraping techniques and API integration.My research project at the UNT College of Information has been equally rewarding. Focusing on data science, specifically in wildfire prediction, I've constructed robust data pipelines and developed precise deep learning models to predict the spread of fires in the US, helping insurance companies and environmental protection agencies mitigate the damages of these events. These efforts have culminated in a publication in a top technology journal (IEEE), presentations at prestigious international conferences relating to big data and climatology, and $9,000 in grants and scholarships to continue pursuing this research.
