Job responsibilities included setting up an India dedicated equity sales desk at London to serve European Foreign Institutional Investors. Serviced a set of diverse clients which includes long only, hedge funds, pension funds and family offices. Empanelled 15 FII clients from the UK. Predominantly responsible for idea generation, road shows and developing key sales products.

Prior job responsibilities included, managing scheme caterpillar of asset size $30mn and involved in fund raising activity from retail and HNI’s clients. The mandate of this scheme is to generate returns over 3-5 year horizon by investing in mid and small cap growth stocks. The aforesaid scheme has generated 35.2% return vis-à-vis 32.4% generated by the benchmark (BSE 500) since its inception in 26th June 2006. Consistently ranked in top quartile for the aforesaid period.

Prior job responsibility was of a buy side analyst which included idea identification, primarily focusing on bottom up stock picking, presenting stock ideas to the investment team, assisting the fund management team by evaluating business models and valuations. Extensively covered capital goods, construction, consumer staples, shipping and shipbuilding sectors.
